GBPly - Google Business Profile management software

Check Every Listing Against Your Google Profile, Then Find Where Competitors Beat You

GBPly finds where your business is listed online, opens each page and checks the name, address, phone and website. Then it shows the sites your real competitors are on and you aren't, with a to-do list that only closes when a scan confirms your listing.

    How a Citation Scan Works

A search result isn't proof of a listing, so GBPly reads the pages. A listing only counts once we have opened it and confirmed it's your business.

    1

    Search

We search for pages that mention your business, starting with the directories that matter most in your country.

    2

    Read each page

Each likely listing is opened and its name, address, phone and website are compared with your Google Business Profile.

    3

    Count only what's proven

Verified listings feed your accuracy score. Anything we couldn't confirm is listed separately with the reason.

A NAP Audit You Can Trust

Name, address and phone (NAP) consistency is a long-standing local SEO basic. GBPly shows exactly which details are wrong and where.

    Accuracy score

Built only from details we could compare on listings we confirmed are yours, so the score is never padded by guesses.

    Coverage

How many of the listings found have actually been checked, so you know how complete the picture is.

    Each wrong detail named

Plain headlines such as "Incorrect phone number" or "Incorrect address and website", with a link to the listing to fix it.

    Honest "couldn't confirm" list

Pages we couldn't read, didn't try, lacked evidence or matched a different business are shown separately and never counted.

Fixed a listing? Mark it as corrected. It only shows as accurate once a later scan reads the page and confirms the change, because some directories take days to update.

    Find Opportunities

See Where Your Competitors Are Listed and You Aren't

Pick up to five businesses you actually compete with. GBPly suggests them from your rank checks and analysis reports, or you can search for any business by name. Your picks are remembered for next time.

Sites your competitors are listed on that you aren't, grouped by type
A direct link to each competitor's listing, so you can see what a good entry looks like
Which competitors share each site, so the most common gaps stand out
Previous discoveries merged into one list, so you never start from scratch

One To-Do List That Closes Itself

Because GBPly also checks your own listings, it can tell when a gap is really closed. No ticking boxes and hoping.

    To do

Sites your competitors are on and you aren't, grouped into Directories & maps, Industry sites, Review sites, Social profiles and Other websites.

    Waiting to confirm

Click "I've added my business" and the site moves here until a scan finds your listing.

    Now listed

A site only lands here when a scan verifies your listing. Your own mark is never treated as proof.

    Ignored

Hide sites that aren't relevant. They stay hidden across future discoveries and can be restored any time.

    Simple Credit Pricing

    • 25 Rank Tracker credits per own-profile scan
    • 10 credits per competitor for Find Opportunities (up to five)
    • Credits refunded automatically if a scan fails on our side
    • Uses the same workspace balance as the Rank Tracker

    What It Doesn't Do

    • It doesn't create, submit or edit listings on other sites for you
    • It won't find every listing on the web; it's a best-effort search
    • It doesn't distribute your details to a directory network
    • No tool can promise a ranking change from citations alone
    For Agencies

A Citation Deliverable Without a Separate Tool

Run audits for every client profile from the same workspace you already use for posts, reviews and rank tracking. Show a client which listings are wrong, which competitors are out-listing them and how many gaps you closed this month, confirmed by scan, not by your word. See the rest of the toolkit on our page for agencies.

    Citation Management FAQs

    What is a citation?
A citation is any page outside Google that lists your business name, address, phone number or website: a directory, a map service, a review site or an industry listing. Consistent details across those pages help customers and search engines trust that the information is right.
How does a GBPly citation scan work?
GBPly searches the web for pages that mention your business, then opens each likely listing and compares its name, address, phone and website with your Google Business Profile. Only listings we actually opened and confirmed as your business are counted.
    What is Find Opportunities?
You choose up to five real local competitors, suggested from your rank checks and analysis reports or searched by name. GBPly finds the sites where they are listed and you are not, and links straight to each competitor listing so you can see what a good entry looks like. It costs 10 Rank Tracker credits per competitor.
Does GBPly create or submit listings for me?
No. GBPly finds, checks and tracks listings and shows you where to add new ones. You (or your agency) add or edit the listing on the directory itself, then a later scan confirms it.
Why does a listing still show as wrong after I fixed it?
Marking a listing as corrected is a note, not proof. Directories can take days to update, so a listing only counts as accurate once a later scan reads the page and confirms the new details.
    How much does it cost?
Each own-profile scan uses 25 Rank Tracker credits, and Find Opportunities uses 10 credits per competitor. If a scan fails on our side the credits are refunded automatically. Credits come from the same workspace balance as the Rank Tracker.
Does it work outside the UK and US?
Yes. Scans run for businesses in any country, and directories that only cover certain countries are skipped elsewhere. Directory coverage is most complete for the UK, US, Canada, Australia and Ireland.
    How often should I scan?
About once a month is enough for most businesses. Each scan re-checks known listings and looks for new ones, and confirmed new listings close items on your opportunities list automatically.
