Quick Start Guide
Welcome to GBPly! This guide walks you through setting up your account, connecting your Google Business Profile, and getting the most out of every feature. Whether you're a business managing your own profile or an agency managing for clients, whether it's one location or hundreds, this documentation will help you get started quickly.
Create Your Account
To get started, visit the Pricing page or click 'Get Started' from the homepage. Choose the plan that best fits your needs — Starter, Pro, or Enterprise.
After successful payment, you'll be taken to a confirmation page. Check your email inbox for a welcome email containing a link to set your password.
Click the link in the email, set your password, and you're in! You'll be taken to the dashboard screen where you can connect your first Google account.
Keep an eye on your spam or junk folder if you don't see the welcome email within a few minutes.
Didn't get the welcome email, or has the link expired?
The welcome email is sent immediately after checkout from support@mail.gbply.net and contains a one-time link to set your password. The link is valid for 24 hours.
If you can't find the email, check your spam, junk, or promotions folder. Add support@mail.gbply.net to your contacts to make sure future emails (review notifications, reports, support replies) land in your inbox.
If the link has expired or no longer works, you can self-serve a fresh one in seconds: go to the Sign in page, click 'Forgot password?', and enter the email address you used at checkout. A new link will arrive within a minute or two.
Still nothing after a few minutes? Reach out via the Support page or email support@mail.gbply.net and we'll resend it manually.
Connect Your Google Account
From the dashboard, click 'Connect Google Account' to link your Google account. You'll be taken through a Google OAuth consent screen — grant permission to manage your Business Profiles.
Once authorised, you're redirected back to the app with your Google account connected. Your account now appears on the Manage Business Profiles page.
You can connect multiple Google accounts and manage them from the Account page. To add or remove Google accounts later, go to Account in the sidebar.
Make sure you sign in with the Google account that has access to your Business Profile in Google Business Profile Manager. If you're an agency and need a client to grant you access, see our guide on Granting Access to Your Google Business Profile (view guide).
Connect Your Business Profile
After connecting your Google account, you'll see your available business profiles listed on the Manage Business Profiles page. Click 'Connect' next to a profile to import it into your workspace.
Once connected, your posts, reviews, insights, and media are synced automatically. A success dialog confirms the connection and lets you go to the dashboard or stay to connect more profiles.
Your subscription determines how many profiles you can connect to each workspace. For a detailed walkthrough of the Manage Business Profiles page, see the dedicated guide section.
Navigate the Dashboard
The sidebar on the left provides access to every section of the app. On mobile, tap the menu icon to open the navigation.
Key sections include: Dashboard (overview), Optimisation (profile health), Reviews, Images, Posts, Q&As, Rank Tracker, Insights, Industry Analysis, Profile Guard, and more — each covered in detail in this guide.
The Help & Support menu at the bottom of the sidebar gives you access to support and this user guide.
Understanding Workspaces & Billing
When you sign up, a default workspace is created for you automatically (named after your email address) and your subscription is attached to it. For most single-location businesses, this default setup is all you'll ever need.
If you manage multiple locations, a higher-tier plan or an increased subscription quantity gives you more profile slots within the same workspace. For example, one Pro subscription covers up to 10 profiles.
Agencies managing clients can choose to keep all profiles in a single workspace or create separate workspaces to isolate client data and billing. Each workspace needs its own subscription.
For full details, see the Workspaces and Billing & Subscriptions sections of this guide.
Most single-location businesses never need to think about workspaces — your default setup just works.
