    Q&A Manager

    Go to Q&A Manager →

The Q&A Manager is a managed FAQ knowledge base for a business profile. Google Business Profiles no longer have a public questions and answers feature, so entries here do not appear on the profile as questions and answers. Instead, they give you a maintained set of answers you can publish as Google Business Profile posts and export as structured data for the business's own website.

    AI FAQ Generation

Click 'Generate FAQs' to use AI to create relevant questions and answers based on the business profile and website content.

The AI generates questions that potential customers commonly ask about businesses in that category. Any individual question can also be answered on its own using the AI Answer action on the question.

Generated FAQs should be reviewed and customised to accurately reflect the business's actual policies and offerings.

    Adding & Editing Q&As

Manually add Q&As by clicking 'Add Q&A'. Enter the question and a detailed, informative answer.

Edit existing Q&As at any time to keep information current. You can reorder Q&As to prioritise the most important ones.

    Publishing as Posts

Convert a Q&A into a Google Business Profile post to get the answer in front of customers. This publishes the question and answer as a standard update post.

This is particularly effective for seasonal questions or time-sensitive information.

    Batch Publishing

Select several Q&As and publish them as a drip-fed series of posts rather than all at once. Choose a start date and a cadence — every day, every 2 days, every 3 days, or weekly — and one post is scheduled per Q&A.

Q&As are held to the same content rules as posts, so anything covering location, contact details or opening hours is skipped, and addresses and postcodes are stripped. Blocked entries need rewording, or an explicit override, before they'll publish.

    JSON-LD Export

Export the Q&As as FAQPage structured data (JSON-LD). Paste this code into the business website so search engines and AI systems can read the answers directly from the page.

Google no longer shows FAQ rich results in Search, so treat this as machine-readable context for the page rather than a way to change how the listing looks.

    CSV Import & Export

Download all Q&As as a CSV file for backup, reporting, or use in other systems.

You can also import Q&As from a CSV — handy if you already maintain FAQs elsewhere, or want to reuse a set of answers across several profiles.
