    Client Portal

    Go to Client Portal →

The Client Portal is a white-label interface that gives your clients a branded, self-service view of their Google Business Profile — without needing a GBPly account. Clients can review and respond to customer reviews with AI-generated suggestions, approve or reject pending posts and content, upload images for scheduling, submit customer contact details for automated review requests, manage Q&As, view performance insights and rank tracking data, and more. You configure what each client can see and do from this page. The Client Portal and its automations are available on Enterprise and Enterprise Pro plans.

    Setting Up a Portal

Navigate to the Client Portal page for the selected business profile. Toggle the portal on to generate a unique, secure portal URL.

The portal is profile-specific — each business profile gets its own dedicated URL and configuration. Portals are served from a neutral white-label domain that makes no mention of GBPly, so the link is safe to send straight to a client.

    Portal Access & Security

Each portal URL contains a 256-bit cryptographic token that cannot be guessed, ensuring only people with the link can access it.

You can optionally add password protection. When enabled, clients must enter the password before viewing any data. You can set, change, or remove the password at any time.

Enable or disable the portal at any time without losing your configuration. If you need to revoke access, regenerate the URL to instantly invalidate the old link.

    Branding Your Portal

Customise the portal with your agency's branding. Set your agency name, brand colour, and logo to create a fully white-labelled experience.

Branding defaults are inherited from your Workspace Settings. You can override these per-profile, or reset back to workspace defaults with one click.

The portal header and footer display your branding instead of GBPly — your clients see your brand throughout.

    Configuring Portal Sections

The portal is built from 18 independent toggles, arranged as 13 rows on the configuration page: Stats Overview, Image Upload, Post Approval, Rank Replay, Image Schedule, Post Schedule, Recent Reviews, Review Responses, Recent Posts, Q&A Manager, Insights, Testimonial Prompt, and a grouped Get Reviews row.

The Get Reviews row contains six toggles of its own — Review Share Link, Review Print Flyer, Review QR Code, Review Website Widget, Review Request API, and How to get more reviews — so you can decide exactly which review tools each client gets.

Review Responses depends on Recent Reviews: if you switch Recent Reviews off, clients won't see the reply tools either.

Use drag-and-drop to reorder the rows — the order you set on the configuration page is the exact order clients see.

Only enable the sections that are relevant to each client to keep the portal focused and easy to navigate.

Different clients may need different views. A restaurant might benefit from Review Responses and Post Approval, while a multi-location business might prioritise Stats Overview and Insights.

    What Clients Can Do

Stats Overview — View key performance metrics including views, searches, actions, calls, direction requests, and website clicks.

Post Approval — Approve or reject pending posts and content. Clients can also edit pending post content before approving it.

Recent Reviews & Review Responses — Read customer reviews and reply directly to Google. AI-generated response suggestions help clients craft professional replies quickly.

Image Upload & Image Schedule — Upload images for scheduling to the business profile, and view or manage already-scheduled images.

Post Schedule — View all scheduled posts and images in a calendar view, with the ability to edit or unschedule items.

Get Reviews — Grab the review link, QR code and printable flyer, copy the website widget embed code, use the review request API, and work through the Get More Reviews playbook. Clients can also submit customer contact details individually or in bulk for automated review requests.

Q&A Manager — View, approve and manage Q&A entries for the business profile.

Insights — View performance insights charts showing trends over time.

Rank Replay — Watch a visual timeline showing keyword ranking history on an interactive map.

Testimonial Prompt — Invite the client to leave a testimonial about your service.

    Automations

The Automations area at the bottom of the Client Portal page holds four collapsible cards. Each one shows its current status at a glance, so you can see what's running for a profile without opening anything.

Auto-schedule Client Rank Scans — Shows whether a recurring Rank Tracker scan exists for the profile, along with its keyword count and frequency. If nothing is scheduled you'll see a warning and a short setup guide with a link through to Rank Tracker. Without a schedule, the Rank Replay section in the portal has no new frames to show.

Auto-schedule Client Post Generation — Generates and schedules posts for the profile on a recurring basis, so content keeps flowing without anyone opening the Posts page. This used to live on the Posts page and now sits here. Generated posts respect the same content policy and daily publish cap as manual posts, and can be routed through Post Approval if you want the client to sign them off.

Auto-schedule Client Image Uploads — Automatically schedules images the client uploads through their portal, on the cadence and posting time you choose, instead of you queueing each one by hand.

Auto-schedule Client Email Reminders — Emails the client a nudge to visit their portal on a 7, 14 or 28-day cycle. Set the recipient addresses, and send yourself a test or preview first.

Set the four automations up once per client during onboarding. Between them they cover the routine work — content, images, ranking data, and keeping the client engaged.

    Bulk Actions

If you manage multiple profiles in a workspace, you can apply branding and section settings from the current profile's portal to all other profiles at once.

Each profile keeps its own unique portal URL — only the configuration settings (branding, enabled sections, and section order) are copied.

Use this when onboarding a new workspace with many profiles. Configure one portal perfectly, then apply to all.

    Sharing the Portal

Copy the portal URL and share it with your client via email, messaging, or any other channel.

The portal works on any device — desktop, tablet, or mobile — with no app install or account creation needed.

If password protection is enabled, the client will be prompted to enter the password on their first visit.
